1.5x Rust servers
Half again as much wood, stone and scrap per swing. That is the whole pitch of a 1.5x server, and for a lot of players it is the sweet spot between vanilla grind and 2x speed. Everything on this shelf is a server online right now with 1.5x or x1.5 in its name.
The crowd on this shelf is top-heavy. A few servers hold most of the players you can see here, and the rows below them are often empty. If you want fights, start at the top of the table. If you want space to build, the quiet rows still work.
Check the last wipe before you commit. Lots of these servers run their own weekly or biweekly reset instead of waiting for the monthly force wipe, so the age of the wipe matters more than the player count on its own. Numbers fall away after the first couple of days of a fresh wipe, so early is busier.
Group limits are worth a glance too. A cap of 8 usually means nobody set one.
Questions
What does 1.5x mean on a Rust server?
The gather rate is set to one and a half times vanilla. Nodes, trees and barrels give you half as much again, so a base goes up faster without raiding becoming easy. Facepunch counts any changed gather rate as a modification, which is why these servers sit in the Modded tab.
Do 1.5x servers wipe on force wipe day?
Some do, many do not. Plenty of owners run a weekly or biweekly reset on a fixed day of their own choosing, which can fall anywhere in the month. The Next wipe column gives the estimate for each server, and it is built from the wipes we have watched plus any schedule the server posts.
Can I find a 1.5x server with a group limit?
Yes, if the owner set one. The Group column shows the cap each server reports, but a figure of 8 is Rust's default and often means no limit was ever chosen. There is no group filter on this page, though the search box matches names, so words like solo or duo in a title will surface those servers.
A server lands on this shelf when its name says 1.5x or x1.5 and it is online when we next refresh. Names are what we sort by; we do not join up to confirm the rate. The table runs busiest first, and a server that drops offline for a restart rolls off until it comes back.
Wipe dates come from watching each server's own rhythm alongside any schedule it publishes. A tilde next to a time means it is our best estimate, not a promise. Want a faster shelf? Try 2x servers. For rate, region and group filters all in one place, the full browser does the job.
