Short version

You can browse the shelves without signing in or handing over anything. The site asks for no name, no email and no payment details, because nothing here is for sale.

Access logs

The web server writes a standard access log for each visit: IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser's user agent. We keep these for a short period, then they are dropped. They are used to keep the site up and to see which pages are being read.

Your browser's own storage

If you switch the theme between light and dark, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage. It stays on your device and is not sent to us.

Cloudflare

Traffic reaches the site through Cloudflare, which provides delivery and protection. Cloudflare handles visitors' IP addresses as part of that work and can place its own security cookie when it needs to check whether a request comes from a bot. That cookie is Cloudflare's, not ours, and their own policy covers it.

Cookies and tracking

Rust Vending Machine sets no cookies of its own. There is no analytics script and no advertising pixel. We do not follow you to other sites, and we do not build a profile of you. Nothing about visitors is sold or shared, since we hold nothing worth selling.

Fonts and files

Fonts load from this domain. The force wipe countdown page pulls country flags from jsDelivr, a public code and font host; when your browser requests that file, jsDelivr sees your IP address and browser details. No Google service is used on this site.

Server numbers

The live figures shown against a server — players, wipe date, rates, region, settings — come from the public server list and from direct queries to those servers. They are totals about a server, never about the people playing on it. If you want to check a single server's numbers, open its page at the server list.

Does Rust Vending Machine use cookies?

The site sets no cookies of its own, and there is no analytics or advertising script running here. Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the site, may set a security cookie of its own when it checks for bots. That cookie belongs to Cloudflare and is covered by their policy.

What data does Rust Vending Machine keep about visitors?
