Terms of use

Here is what you agree to when you browse the shelves on Rust Vending Machine.

What this page covers. These terms apply to rustvendingmachine.shop. By using the site, you accept them.

Where the stock comes from. Every listing is built from the public Rust server list on Steam and from what each server publishes about itself. We refresh that data every five minutes. A server can report a wipe late, set a misleading name or show a player count that lags behind, so read each label as a snapshot rather than a promise.

Browsing. You can browse and compare servers here without an account and without paying anything. Keep your requests at a normal pace. Flooding pages slows the shelves for everyone else.

Want the whole dataset. Email hello@rustvendingmachine.shop and we will work something out.

Bots and AI tools. Search engines, crawlers and AI tools may read the site. Check robots.txt and llms.txt first so you know what sits where, and keep your fetch rate low enough that ordinary visitors still get quick pages.

If you run a server. You are listed because your server appears on the public list. Your page shows what your server reports: name, tags, wipe times, slot count and rates. To change a label, change it on the server, and we will pick it up within about five minutes.

Independence. Rust Vending Machine is not connected to Facepunch Studios in any way. Rust is a trademark of Facepunch Studios.

Updates to these terms. We may revise this page. The date below shows when it last changed. Carry on using the site after a change and you accept the new version.

Questions

Can I use Rust Vending Machine without paying or signing up?

Yes. Browsing and comparing servers here costs nothing and needs no account. You can move from the full server list to any individual server page straight away. There is no paid tier and nothing is sold on the site.

How often is the server data updated?

Listings refresh every five minutes from Steam's public Rust server list and from servers themselves. That means a wipe, a name change or a new player count should show up shortly after the server reports it. Between refreshes, what you see is the last reading we took, not a live feed.

Rust Vending Machine is not linked to Facepunch, is it?

No. The site is independent and has no connection to Facepunch Studios. Rust is a trademark of Facepunch Studios, and we only display data the servers and Steam publish publicly. If you run a server and want something changed, change it on your server and we will pick it up.
