The nearest wipe is rarely the best pick. A server wiped three days ago has its base spots taken and its hot spots busy; one wiped yesterday still has room. Check Last wipe before you commit. Region decides your ping more than any setting: if you are in Australia or North America, the European servers here will feel slow. Group size is worth a look too. A solo-only server suits one player, a trio server suits three, and a duo server is the middle shelf. The Tags column shows rates when the server publishes them, from vanilla pace to 2x and faster. What does a duo server mean in Rust?

A duo server caps every team at two players. The group limit is set by the server owner and enforced in game, so you and one friend are the largest group allowed. Any fight is at most two versus two, unless several duos arrive together.

Are all duo-named servers real duo servers?

No. A name can say duo while the published group limit is higher. This page lists servers whose setting is exactly 2, whatever the name says, and a server drops off when that setting changes.

Do duo Rust servers wipe blueprints?

It varies by server. The map always resets at the monthly force wipe, but each owner decides whether blueprints reset with it. Some wipe them monthly, some never. Check the server's own page or its Discord for the rule.

What gather rates do duo Rust servers use?
